Cutting gears on 5-axis CNC from your CAD/CAM models reduced our cost for 50%. All the machining, induction hardening and final inspection have been done in one setup on the same machine! We are currently replacing our gear cutting machines with 3 and 5 axis CNC in order to stay competitive in spiral bevel gear manufacturing.
